DietAtkins Diet
Those who go for Atkins diet, change their food intake lifetime i.e. the restriction of processed and refined carbohydrates. In Atkins diet, dieters are encouraged to have nutrient-rich unprocessed food. The first phase or 'induction phase' goes for 14 days or 2 weeks. During this period, dieters are cautioned to follow all instructions closely. In this diet type, the body is transformed in to a state where body uses fats for energy. This state is called 'Ketosis'. In the very first phase, the results of weight loss are seen which are very much prone to weight gain if the second phase instructions are not taken care of. This phase is very difficult to execute as some dieters can't obey the restrictions. During the second phase, the diet restrictions are relieved a little. Here, carbohydrate levels are allowed to increase as some vegetables are allowed. This phase is relatively easy for dieters. Once the weight goal is achieved in this phase, the dieters reach a critical carb level for maintenance. Allowed Foods:Meat, cheese, eggs and fats (like butter and oils). This diet type is against all other diet types as meet, cheese intake is allowed. Exercise:Not Recommended. See more body part specific exercises |
