  • When exercising a particular weight loss programme don't be over-enthusiastic. Fat that accumulates over a period can't be lost very fast because it is a part of body. Do not starve yourself.
  • Weight loss programs should be taken in a planned manner.
  • Forbidden Foods: Cake, Biscuits, Ice-cream, Dry fruits, fruit juices, edible roots, potatoes etc. for more information see diet types, diet plans. It is desirable not to store such food items in home.
  • For an obese, it is necessary not to eat more than three times a day. Plan you diet accordingly. Also experts ask you to have an interval of about 15 sec. between morsels and to take small morsels.
  • If food cravings trouble you throughout the day, try to take your mind to some different area of interest and satisfy your hunger if at all necessary by low calorie food item.
  • Vegetables salads are freely allowed in your diet plan before your meals or with meals. Take before meals a glass of diluted buttermilk with ice in it.
  • Taking regular exercises like walk in fresh air early in the morning, late after dinner is a healthy habbit. Ofcourse personal trainers do help in reducing fat from body by giving you specific exercises to shed fat and lose weight. Use of Diet pills is not recommended as the results are not long term and these pills affect the metabolism.
  • Obese must take care of psychological problems at work during the dieting. Food cravings, social and pyschological and other obesity related problems etc.. People generally make fun of an obses but stay concentrated and you will gain respect of society.
  • 'Don't eat your food drink it.' Take small morsels and chew those for long. Vegetable soup and moong soup(without floor added to it) are recommended while undergoing weight loss programs.
  • Keep yourself busy with some interested subject while exercising a particular weight loss programme. If you pass through these critical phases you will conquer your desire for food ultimately resulting into some good results.
  • Stick to one diet plan and continue it for life if it fetches you great results interm of weight loss. Many people lose focus after initial success and the result is reoccurence of fat and related problems. Sticking to a particular program, diet plan for a long period is the key to success.
